Job Description
We are seeking a Solar PV Engineer on a 12-month contract to work across domestic and commercial sites in and around West Sussex. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and design of solar PV installations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing technical support, especially for upcoming Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site audits to maintain health and safety standards.
Lead incident investigations and manage upgrade works.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules and perform reactive maintenance.
Act as the primary contact for customers, offering technical advice.
Coordinate with subcontractors for specialist support.
Qualifications:
Fully qualified electrician with 5+ years in solar PV installation and maintenance.
Relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition BS7671, NVQ Level 3, Solar PV installation).
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to health and safety.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
