Job Description

Job title: Human Factors Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £37,000-£45,000 (DOE)

Location: Plymouth

Hours of work: 40 hours per week


Applicants must have experience of the following:

  • Previous experience in the application of Human Reliability Analysis
  • Relevant qualification in appropriate field
  • Experience working in multi discipline teams
  • Able to obtain security clearance


Ideally applicants should also have:

  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry
  • Knowledge of Human Factors assessment techniques (THERP, HEART etc)


Role information:

  • Investigate and analyse human behaviour and performance relating to the use of nuclear systems and technologies
  • Contribute to the delivery of safety case projects
  • Work as part of a nuclear safety team
