Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled cablers, splicers, and testers to join our team (ideally in teams of two). The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, splicing, and testing fibre optic cables for FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) projects. Experience working with providers such as Openreach and Virgin Media O2 is preferred.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fibre cabler, splicer, or tester in the telecommunications industry.
• Experience with MDU fibre installations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of working with network operators such as Openreach and Hyperoptic.
• Familiarity with fusion splicing, termination processes, and testing techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and network diagrams.
• Experience with fibre optic testing tools, including OTDR, power meters, and light sources.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites.
• Relevant accreditations, such as NRSWA, PIA, or CSCS card (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of fibre optic networks and cabling practices.
• Good attention to detail, ensuring installations meet required standards.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• BT or PIA accreditations.
