Job Description

We've partnered with a leading renewable energy producer looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer responsible to manage the technical design process of renewable energy projects, including wind and PV power plants, ensuring high-quality delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and technical development of renewable energy generation plants and electrical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external engineering firms to drive project efficiency.
  • Manage grid connection processes and ensure regulatory compliance in coordination with national grid operators and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support throughout the development, procurement, and construction phases to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate specialized technical studies to minimize risks during construction and operation.
  • Ensure the handover of projects from engineering to construction is smooth and meets all technical requirements.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (postgraduate in renewable energy is a plus).
  • 8-10 years of experience in Wind and substation projects.
  • Proven expertise in electrical substations, grid connections, and MV networks.
  • Familiarity with national grid operators and regulatory bodies (TSO/DNO).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-national environment.
  • Fluent in English (additional language skills such as Spanish are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
