Senior Engineer - Transport Planning

We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Centurion, Gauteng Role : Senior Engineer - Transport Planning Industry : Transport / Civil Engineering Level : Senior Key Requirements: 8 years of relevant experience in transport planning, traffic analysis, and infrastructure design. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred). Professionally registered with ECSA. Proven expertise in transportation planning studies, traffic modelling, and the design of transportation infrastructure. Familiarity with transport modelling software (e.g., PTV, SIDRA, Synchro) and GIS applications. Experience in coordinating small to mid-size project teams and contributing specialized technical input to studies and design work. Ability to prepare technical specifications and contribute to the development of design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective results. Previous experience mentoring junior staff and providing technical guidance. Knowledge of construction costs and regulations relevant to transportation design. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate when faced with challenges. Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to lead projects and teams independently.
