We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg, Gauteng Role : Senior Energy Engineer Industry : Renewable Energy / Engineering Consulting Level : Senior Key Requirements: B.Eng. or BSc. in Electrical Engineering, with a further qualification in Renewable Energy preferred. Professional registration with ECSA. In-depth knowledge of the energy sector, specifically within renewable energy and decarbonisation projects. Proven experience in project management and delivering technical advisory, owners engineer, and design services within the renewable energy sector. Strong experience preparing and delivering bids and proposals for energy projects. Ability to write and review technical reports, presentations, and drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members, providing technical and commercial guidance. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Personal Attributes: A strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and renewable energy solutions. Strong leadership and mentorship skills, able to develop junior engineers and lead project teams. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear and effective communicator, able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Committed to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in renewable energy technologies and industry standards.
