Your new companyOur client is an international business that is an engineering / manufacturing business that has been seeing significant growth over the last few years.
Your new roleYour role will be to support the Financial Controller to deliver a timely and accurate accounts service across the business. You will be a recently qualified or a qualified-by-experience accountant who is keen to deliver this.
Preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance stage including preparing and processing of journals & preparation of necessary supporting Supporting the Financial Controller in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring all income, expenses, liabilities and assets are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewedPreparation of balance sheet reconciliationsSupporting the Financial Controller in the planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, internal and external audits, and the Annual Statutory Accounts within agreed timetables. Quarterly VAT return workings and associated reconciliations within UK & Irish jurisdictionsRevenue Reporting Costings and analysis of production performance Contribution to the annual budgeting and planning processReview accounts payable/credit control and cover if necessary
What you'll need to succeedIdeally, you will be experienced at delivering accounts and you will have excellent communication skills.
