Hays are proud to be partnering with a vibrant, welcoming artistic hub at the heart of the cultural life of Colchester. We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join a friendly, warm team within a charitable organisation.
Your new role
- Part-Time Finance Assistant - reporting to the Finance Manager
- (2.5 days a week - 18.5 hours)
- Inputting data, processing invoices, cash handling, bank reconciliations
- Complete purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Assist with cash handling, float reconciliation, petty cash disbursements and BACS payments
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a finance setting and an understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll functions
- Confident ability to use online systems and spreadsheets within a paperless filing system
- Pride in the work they do and an insightful nature
- 20 days holiday - Plus Bank Holidays (28 in total)
