Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk Colchester

Hays are proud to be partnering with a vibrant, welcoming artistic hub at the heart of the cultural life of Colchester. We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join a friendly, warm team within a charitable organisation.
Your new role

  • Part-Time Finance Assistant - reporting to the Finance Manager
  • (2.5 days a week - 18.5 hours)

  • Inputting data, processing invoices, cash handling, bank reconciliations
  • Complete purchase and sales ledger transactions
  • Assist with cash handling, float reconciliation, petty cash disbursements and BACS payments

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a finance setting and an understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll functions
  • Confident ability to use online systems and spreadsheets within a paperless filing system
  • Pride in the work they do and an insightful nature
