Assistant R&D Tax Manager - Top 30 Practice - London (Hybrid | 2 days per week in office)

Leonid Group have partnered with a fantastic top 30 Practice who are looking to add to their growing in-house R&D tax team. We are looking for an Assistant R&D Tax Manager who has specialist experience dealing with software claims. This role is perfect for a technically strong candidate who is looking for a hands-on management role with scope to grow!

Salary: £60k-£75k

Day to day duties

• Oversee a portfolio of key R&D clients
• Prepare R&D reports for submission to HMRC and deliver R&D tax client services to a high standard
• Demonstrate a collaborative approach and be able to demonstrate an awareness of technical risk through well supported research
• Aim to increase your client base through an organised approach to business development e.g. networking, client recommendation requests, and developing referrer base
• Confident in delivering technical advice and support to colleagues in relation to innovation incentives and tax planning for innovative companies

What are we looking for?

• With a software-centric client book, we are looking for somebody with expertise in delivering R&D tax claims for software clients
• Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation
• An individual who is driven, keen to contribute to wider business growth, and mentor junior members of staff as the team grows
