An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated team within a food processing and packaging environment. The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical background, responsible for maintaining and optimizing production machinery.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Provide Electrical and Mechanical support to ensure optimal performance of all production machinery and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to automated machinery failures and carry out necessary improvement and upgrade work.
• Engage in General Continuous Improvement activities to enhance overall efficiency.
• Minimize machine downtime to maximize productivity.
• Contribute to the achievement of the Preventative Maintenance Plan.
• Perform both Planned Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Engineer Experience:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with manufacturing systems, related controls, and instrumentation.
• Recognized qualification (Degree, NVQ or time served apprenticeship
