Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large global manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract basis. As a Project Manager you will play a key role in driving manufacturing projects and contracts to successful completion.

You will work closely with Programme Managers ad Manufacturing Management Team to define project goals, manage resources and ensure strict adherence to budgets and timelines.

THE ROLE:

Some of your responsibilities as a Manufacturing Project Manager:

• Taking ownership of a large scale contracts from planning through to completion, ensuring each aligns with the business objectives and schedules.
• You will act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and project teams, ensuring smooth communication and accurate progress reporting.
• Acting as a key contributor to tendering and bidding processes to secure future project opportunities.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of contract risk and opportunity plans/budgets.
• Communicating project requirements effectively to multi-disciplinary teams to safeguard the o-time delivery of products.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Relevant project management qualifications, with strong hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Proven budget management skills, including forecasting and cost control.
• Solid understanding of contract management, including procurement processes.
• An experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years' experience with a successful track record of delivering high value, fixed cost projects in a matrix organisation.
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• A natural leader with excellent communication skills who can coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as SAP,ARM and Primavera P6.
