Job Description
Atomic Talent is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Senior EC&I Engineer (Design) to work with an industry-leading organisation, working on major projects in the Nuclear sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity, for a talented EC&I Design Engineer to join a successful team of talented EC&I Design Engineers delivering full lifecycle design packages for bespoke, and high-value, engineering projects in highly challenging nuclear environments.
The role
The team is highly successful and work across a number of high value projects on a variety of UK and global nuclear sites. Your focus will be to deliver an high level of engineering design within a true multi-discipline environment whilst working closely with other delivery partners and client representatives. You will be working hands-on producing innovative engineering design with an exceptional attention to detail across projects at different stages from early concept to detail design and design for manufacture.
About you
Ideally Degree qualified (or with demonstrable equivalent experience) and a Chartered Engineer (or working towards) , you will already be working in a highly regulated industry and experienced working on large, multi-discipline projects.
You’ll understand the full design lifecycle and have excellent CAD skills and the ability to implement and deliver complex engineering packages.
A thorough working knowledge of using PLC and SCADA systems to support mechanical plant is essential.
IMPORTANT: This role requires SC clearance, or the eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
