Chartered Structural Engineer -
We are looking for an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join our clients’ team environment of friendly and collaborative staff in St Helens.
Chartered Structural Engineer Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience working at a senior level, ideally in a small to medium sized practice with a wish to move up in a business to management level.
* Demonstrable people management experience and skills.
* Proven success in business generation within the industry.
* Ability to see projects through from initial brief to completion, often multitasking numerous jobs simultaneously mainly undertaking of detailed forensic building defect surveys and reporting in a lucrative area of our business.
* Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including report writing.
* A true team player, able to work harmoniously with our friendly existing team.
* Strong presentation skills, and excellent customer rapport.
* A confident and competent self-starter who is motivated, hard-working and committed.
* You will have a good track record in structural building engineering design and have experience in the delegation and management of junior engineers, and diagnosing building defects and clearly setting out repair specifications will form crucial part of the work.
Strong progression opportunities are on offer for the successful candidate, with the intention of joining at Associate Director level. You will assist the directors in mentoring graduate engineers to become Chartered and provide support to the Directors in the running of the company. Thereafter, there will be scope for promotion to full Director dependant on demonstrable success in role.
Package
Full-time, Permanent with some hybrid working
Pay: From £60,000.00 per year – negotiable
