Multi Skilled Engineer

The Mechanical Electrical Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising mechanical and electrical systems within the manufacturing plant. This role requires expertise in both mechanical systems and electrical circuits to ensure efficient production processes, minimise downtime, and improve plant performance.
Candidate Requirements for the Multi Skilled Engineer:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain and repair electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control panels.
Ensure mechanical integrity of production machinery and utilities (compressors, conveyors, etc.).
Optimise machinery performance to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimise downtime.
Ensure all systems meet safety standards and maintain compliance documentation.
Lead and manage equipment installation projects.
Provide technical training and support to maintenance staff.
Monitor stock levels of components and liaise with suppliers for replenishment.
Manage day-to-day relationships with maintenance suppliers.
Qualification/Training requirements:
Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
OPTIONAL WEEKLY/MONTHLY PAY.
Monday - Thursday 6am-6pm
Overtime Available 1.5x
25 days annual leave + bank holidays
