Main Objective
Reporting to the Team Leader/Key Account Manager, you will provide field-based scheduled and corrective maintenance for both hospital and community customers. This includes offering on-site technical solutions while ensuring the highest quality support.

Main Tasks
*Conduct planned preventative maintenance and repairs to a wide range of medical devices in hospitals and community settings.
*Ensure service reports are completed in accordance with the Quality Management System.
*Liaise with customers regarding scheduled visits and corrective repairs.
*Collaborate with the service desk to ensure service delivery meets KPIs.
*Maintain effective quality systems to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485.
*Utilize BCAS Biomed Database System of assets.
*Identify and develop improvements in processes for consistently high levels of service.
*Build an honest and strong working partnership with Trusts for smooth contract operations and compliance.
*Positively increase the Company's profile and grow BCAS Biomed multivendor business.
*Comply with Company quality systems in accordance with ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2016.
*Ensure tasks align with MHRA Managing Medical Devices Guidance Document and OEM Protocols.
*Ensure all Company policies and procedures are fully complied with at all times.
*Provide customer service support to the Team Leader.

Key Skills
*Ideally, possess a minimum of HNC/HND in Electronics/Microprocessors/Electrical Engineering or related field.
*Demonstrable experience in a similar role dealing with medical devices in both hospital and community settings.
*Understanding and compliance with all regulatory requirements, including MHRA, Health and Safety, and Quality.
*Demonstrate a good level of competency with IT systems for managing assets and reporting on work completed.
*Must demonstrate ongoing commitment to personal development.
*Capable of working within a competitive team environment and providing strong individual performance.
*Good problem-solving skills.
*Full UK Driving licence.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
