Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and proactive IT Contract & Service Management Intern to join our “Contract and Service Management” Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT department of ING Italy and develop essential skills in a complex and international organization. Key Activities: The IT Contract & Service Management Intern will support the IT services life cycle stages; the intern will assist and contribute to managing daily tasks, such as: Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Contribute to the preparation of the sourcing and contractual documentation of new initiatives/services: Define the Sourcing Classification of a service, according to the ING Framework. Contribute to the Risk Assessment process and ensure sign-off of the relevant ING stakeholders. Collaborate with various ING departments/stakeholders to ensure seamless service phase-in: Define, together with the Delivery and Sourcing Leads, the Transition Plan. Oversee the Transition Plan execution, by providing guidance and promptly escalating any issues/impediments. Support in coordinating and supervising services life cycle: Plan initial meetings with suppliers to ensure that both parties understand the service, the contract, and the related KPIs/metrics. Evaluate the services provided, based on SLAs and KPIs defined in the contract. Monitor critical service issues and performance trends. Participate in the Contract Renewal activities with ING stakeholders and Suppliers. Oversee the billing processes, making sure all stakeholders are aware of the process. Educational Qualifications: University degree preferably in areas like Information/Computer Technology, Engineering, Sciences, or Economics. Technical, Language and other Specialized Skills: University degree, a plus in Information/Computer Technology. Basic knowledge of IT service management concepts (IT services lifecycle stages, SLA, KPI, etc.). Basic knowledge of Project Management principles. Proficient in English is mandatory (written and spoken). Mastery of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Soft Skills: Proactive attitude and strong focus on details and accuracy. Ability to quickly understand complex situations and explain them to others in the organization. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Great communication, interpersonal, and networking skills. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
