Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Position: Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is seeking a Ticketing Operations Cluster Coordinator for the Cortina/Anterselva area. This role will support the Milano-based Ticketing Operations Manager in preparing and implementing the Games-time Operations plan, including setting up Ticket/Resolution offices across multiple venues within the assigned mountain cluster. Key Responsibilities Collaboration & Communication: Build and maintain effective communication with the Ticketing Operations Core Team at MC26 HQ, as well as Venue and Sport Functional Area teams, to extend direct ticketing operations across each cluster. Work closely with local representatives, Local Ticketing Service Providers (Eventim/TicketOne), and other stakeholders to ensure smooth ticketing operations before and during the Games. Protocol Implementation: Develop and enforce ticketing protocols, policies, procedures, and contingency plans to maintain quality and operational efficiency throughout all venues in the cluster. Operational Tracking: Track ticketing requirements for each venue and ensure all needs align with the Event Venue Management Operational Plan. Local Liaison: Act as the key liaison within cluster territories, supporting commercial marketing communications and ticket sales staff through introductions and facilitating meetings at local events. Logistics & Budget Control: Ensure that all ticketing-related logistics, venue setups, and operational activities are timely, within budget, and meet performance standards. Games-Time Operations Oversight: Oversee ticketing operations during the Games, serving as the first point of contact for operational support and issue resolution across cluster venues. Requirements: Experience: Demonstrated experience in major sports ticketing operations management. Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Cortina area. Technical Skills: Proficiency with stadia-based Ticketing Systems, including e-ticket/mobile apps, seating bowl seat assignment management, IT Access Control Management, and MS Office tools. Team Leadership: Experience in organizing, training, and managing event staff with strong communication and delegation skills. Stakeholder Relations: Ability to build and maintain open communication with local authorities, venue owners, and sports clubs. Personal Attributes: Diligent, adaptable, flexible, and diplomatic in interactions with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public, with the ability to enforce policies effectively. Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure and quickly implement last-minute decisions. Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, marketing, sports business administration, or a related field. Languages: Fluency in Italian, German, and English is required.
