VC Investment VP/ Principal

Investment Sourcing & Deal Flow:

• Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities in the technology sector, particularly in companies with Chinese founders or strong ties to China.
• Leverage the firm's existing relationships and network in China to generate deal flow and establish direct links with founders, investors, and corporate partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Chinese entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, and investors, both in China and Southeast Asia.

Due Diligence & Investment Evaluation:

• Lead the due diligence process for investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, competitive assessments, and management team evaluations.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of Chinese portfolio companies and help refine strategic growth plans, operational improvements, and international expansion strategies.
• Work closely with the firm's investment committee to present investment recommendations and strategic insights on market trends within China.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation:

• Act as a key point of contact for portfolio companies with Chinese founders, providing value-added support across business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
• Collaborate with portfolio company executives to identify new growth opportunities and execute on key initiatives.
• Offer ongoing guidance on navigating regulatory challenges, market dynamics, and strategic alliances, particularly with respect to China and Southeast Asia.

Relationship Building & Network Development:

• Cultivate deep relationships with Chinese technology executives, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and government entities to help identify market trends and strategic opportunities.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings, particularly those focused on the China market.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to portfolio companies by leveraging the firm's deep network in China and Southeast Asia to support expansion plans, strategic partnerships, and cross-border collaborations.
