The Opportunity:

The UK Government are constantly attempting to maintain and improve national security. In order to do this, the MoD has partnered with this company for over 50 years in order to provide cutting edge-solutions that empower National Defence and Government operations, critical to the safety of the nation.

The Role:

The company is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of impactful technical solutions for complex defence and national security projects. You'll guide a team of architects, working closely across bids and projects to ensure everything aligns with customer needs, while keeping costs, time, and quality in check.

Additionally, you'll also be responsible for identifying technical challenges, managing risks, and ensuring the team works cohesively toward a shared goal. Your leadership will be key in driving the project through each phase and delivering success every step of the way.

Essential Requirements:

• Strong background in Network Architecture

• Broad knowledge across multiple technologies (virtualization, infrastructure, security, applications)

• Ability to ensure interoperability between solution components

• Experience creating technical solution propositions and bid responses based on customer requirements

• Ability to define and track technical deliverables through program lifecycle

• Experience with end-to end program, both commercial and financial aspects

• Quality control and design accuracy through governance

• Experience leading and co-ordinating large teams (15-20)

• Escalation point for technical issues in the program

• Excellent communications skills with multiple stakeholders

Benefits Package:

• Base Salary- £62,000-£65,000
