We are looking to recruit a Electrical Package Manager for a 12 month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Responsibilities

KBR are looking for a Project Manager who possesses significant experience in electrical engineering.

The successful candidate will be;

• Responsible for the delivery of the major electrical packages for a significant 'normally unattended' Greenfield facility. The project also comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement.
• The focal point between the Client's PMT and the KBR PMT, procurement and engineering teams.
• The main packages include Synchronous Condensers, CLRs and main Electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, switchgear, VSD etc.
• Looking across those major packages to drive the multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence etc. and facilitating stakeholder buy in.
• Supporting the engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope,.
• Have solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution and shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager.
• Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage.
• Building strong working relationships with with Client and prospective suppliers will be critical.
