The Project
As an experienced Site Manager, you will manage a team of tradesmen completing the externals and landscaping packages on a new industrial facility situated in West Yorkshire. You will supervise daily operations and ensure the works are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
SMSTS
CSCS Card
First Aid - Desirable not essentialIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;
Strong history of working with leading construction contractors or subcontractors
Previous experience of managing externals, landscaping and groundworks packages
Extensive experience within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working as a Site Manager, withholding an engineering and / or a groundswork sub-contractor backgroundAdditional skills;
Superb negotiation abilities
Competent IT / software skills
Extensive Health and Safety knowledge
Effective communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to organise and manage project schedules
A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards
Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively
In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and building processes
Exceptional focus on detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and specificationsThe Role

Reporting to: Contracts ManagerDuties
Site safety inductions
Liaise with external stakeholders
Conduct and attend routine site meetings
Report and work closely with the Contracts Manager
Address any problems or disputes that arise throughout
Oversee package expenses, maintaining alignment with the budget
Comply with health and safety regulations throughout all work operations
Recognise possible threats to the works, implementing strategies to address them
Coordinate and manage daily site activities, overseeing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Managing resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively
Serve as the principal contact between the project team, clients, and stakeholders, delivering regular updates on project progress
Maintaining precise records of all project elements, such as contracts, permits, change orders, and communications
Enhance and maintain positive client relationships by resolving concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with project developments
