Are you an experience Cost Accountant with a background in manufacturing, steel or engineering sectors?
Do you have at least 5 year's experience in that role?
Are you CIMA qualified or have similar qualifications?

Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for a local manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Located close to the Park Way, our client is a growing manufacturing company with a plan to double in size over the next 5 years. Working under the Financial Director, they are looking for a competent and experienced Cost Accountant who can work in conjunction with the Accounts Team. This opportunity has real opportunity for growth, development and future progression!
Main duties/responsibilities:
* In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
* Experience in analysing and monitoring costs and stock.
* Knowledge of processes and payments related to engineering or manufacturing sectors.
* Good understanding in budgeting and risk management.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* An eye for detail in relation to cost discrepancies and variances in relation to debits and credits.
* Ideally have worked on Sage or similar software.
What’s on offer:
* Salary - £40k
* 35 hours working week

You will have:
* Experience as a Cost Accountant in Manufacturing, Engineering or Steel sectors.
