Job Description

Job Title: Tax Risk Officer Location: Milan Category: Technology & Telecoms Responsibilities: Building, managing and enhancing the integrated system for detecting, measuring, managing and controlling tax risk (Tax Control Framework or TCF); Keep the TCF up-to-date and coordinate the implementation of TCF by performing risk assessments, updating control matrices (RCM), and governance documents; Conduct tests on the adequacy of control measures within the framework, in line with the annual test plan; Monitor and adopt improvement actions aimed at mitigating tax risk; Assist business functions in adopting and implementing the most appropriate controls for managing and mitigating tax risk; Help prepare regulations, procedures, communications, and informational activities to promote tax culture within the Company; Prepare information for Corporate Governance Bodies and participate as a presenter; Stay updated on tax regulations and legal requirements, particularly concerning the TCF and Cooperative Compliance regimes; Manage relationships and preventive interactions with the Tax Authority - Cooperative Compliance Office; Develop IT solutions for the continuous improvement of tax processes, known as Tax digitalization; Participate in projects related to the internal control system. Requirements: Master's degree in tax/accounting/finance/economics/law. Postgraduate Master in Tax Law is preferred; At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within multinational companies with accounting control systems and Tax Control Framework. Experience in companies already in cooperative compliance regime is preferred; CTA or equivalent certification is preferred; Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively cooperate with cross-functional teams and explain tax matters to non-tax people; Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; Lateral thinking; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
