As the R&D Claims Director , you will be a pivotal figure in our efforts to innovate and enhance our insurance claims software solutions. Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer (CPO), you'll lead a dynamic team of developers and analysts, driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge products in the Claims insurance field. Your deep understanding of insurance Claims processes and your technical background will be essential to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the R&D team focused on insurance claims software development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop innovative solutions. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding technical aspects of claims software, providing expert guidance and support in pre-sales phases. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our products remain competitive and aligned with market needs. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of product performance and implement improvements as necessary. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in the claims domain. Proven experience in a technical role such as Software Architect or Developer, with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
