The European Central Applications Team is looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join our customer-facing technical support team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, field sales, and distribution teams for our industry-leading high-performance products, solutions, and reference designs. Support is provided by phone, email, and face-to-face customer engagements. Specific Responsibilities Include: Email, phone, on-site customer technical support Customer product selection/recommendations Customer product trainings Customer schematic and layout reviews Hardware design in support and technical troubleshooting Writing technical articles and application notes Essential Skills and Qualifications: Engineering Degree, 3 years of experience in the semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering, preferably in customer support roles. General knowledge of analogue & mixed signal electronics. Specialization in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage: Precision and High Speed signal chains, Power Management, RF and Microwave, Embedded Processors, Isolation and Interface, MEMs & Sensors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong team player capable of working in a multi-location international team. Able to work effectively within a global organization with complex matrix structures and cross-functional teams. Continuously seeks to improve functional and professional skills and knowledge. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
