The current position is for the Cardiopulmonary Business Unit, within the Global Strategic Marketing Team, specifically in the EssenzTM Team. EssenzTM is the new Perfusion System LivaNova has launched in the global market starting in 2023. The position is for a Senior SW Product Manager and is about playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transitions of the product through the development life cycle, taking the product from concept to successful commercial launch. As an essential member of our product team, you’ll work closely with engineering and design – along with business stakeholders from across the company – to create new value in our products. The product line of competency is: Essenz SW and data. General Responsibilities: Strategy: Support in the setting the direction of the relevant product roadmap, based on product knowledge and market needs. Ensure the defined product roadmap will be properly implemented by R&D, working closely with R&D, RA, Clinical, Quality. Product Ownership: Structure and implement Voice Of Customers (VOCs) and user centric design (UCD) activities to define marketing unmet needs. Collect and convert relevant ideas into features, ensuring they align with critical objectives for the product line and business. Define the features and requirements necessary for a complete product to enter the market, working closely with the UI/UX team to design elegant user experiences that address customers' pain points. Be responsible for managing and updating the list of new features/improvements for the product under responsibility working with the regional teams. Organize customer evaluation sessions activities within the R&D User testing sessions, to ensure the gathering of customers’ feedback on the product and use the outcome to review requirements and collaborate with R&D to refine the product. Support in the creation of marketing materials for product launches or product updates. Prepare the marketing documentation needed in the product development in line with the development process. Support in the creation of the deliverables part of the product launch plan. Drive and execute product portfolio management for the current products, supporting the cross-functional team and the regions. Create product insights and competitive positioning. Sales and Marketing Support: Provide support to the regional teams for what concerns S&M activities based on the agreed strategy, plan and processes. Establish strong working relationships across functions to garner feedback and ensure internal voices are captured and influence product needs as appropriate. Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and third-party vendors to enhance product offerings and market positioning. Establish and maintain partnerships with key customers. Skills and Experience: 5 years of product management experience in the medical device industry. Strong technical background and experience in product development for medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare software. Proven experience in product management and launch deliverables preparation. Remote work experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment. English language at professional level. Education: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Engineering.
