Job ProfileAs the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for purchasing and product range development for the entire company. The position is considered a key role within the company, as significant emphasis is placed on purchasing, design and product development.
The Chief Product Officer is part of the management team and reports directly to the CEO. The role includes leadership responsibilities and P&L responsibility. The role involves travel as needed, together with buyers, to collaborate with producers and factories.

Tasks and responsibilities:- Leading and developing the team in terms of purchasing and assortment.
- Ensuring that employees receive relevant information regarding purchasing and related matters.
- Managing and developing functions and processes within purchasing and assortment.
- Being ultimately responsible for ensuring that routines are followed and that routine descriptions are created.
- Being responsible for the department's budget and results (KPI, follow-up, driving, gross margin).
- Independently lead the company's product and assortment development within established assortment frameworks, supply volumes, and timelines in accordance with the company's brand platform and sales perspective.
- Formulate current purchasing flows before the start of each season
- Ensure the preparation of calculations and pricing proposals for all markets, including from a currency perspective (purchase and retail prices).
- During the collection process, lead and initiate the ongoing work within purchasing and assortment.
- 5 + years of experience in purchasing and product development in the textile industry, preferably within sportswear or other technical clothes.
- Experience and a solid understanding of the entire work process from idea to production and final retail sale.
- A passion for product development, color, and form, as well as a good sense of materials, is crucial.
- 3 + years of leadership experience
