Interim Management Accountant - Higher Education
We are urgently seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to work within one of our higher education clients. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports and support the wider organisation.
Daily rate: £250-£300 Inside IR35
Location:South East
Hybrid:1-2 days in the office
Duration:6 months
About the Role:
As an Interim Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial reports, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will help drive strategic financial decisions and contribute to the organisation financial performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Cash flow and cost management
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Collaborate with departmental heads to provide financial insights.
Ensure compliance with the organisations policies and financial regulations.
Essential experience:
Fully qualified CCAB
Proven experience as a management accountant within the higher education sector.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and Advanced Excel
