Full Stack Engineer

Wenham Carter are partnered with a Stealth mode start up based in London. Founded in 2024, they are an InsurTech company using Gen AI/LLMs to streamline risk processing, support underwriting and claim adjudication.

We are searching for a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in both frontend development using React and Electron and backend/middleware development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with APIs, scripting languages like Python or Node.js, and be comfortable with CI/CD tools. You will be a key contributor to building a greenfield AI driven data ingestion platform to service insurance businesses.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development:

•Design, develop, and maintain desktop application using React and Electron.

•Ensure the application is responsive, user-friendly, and performant across different operating systems.

•Work with UX/UI designs

•Optimize the frontend codebase for scalability and maintainability.

Middleware & Backend Development:

•Develop and maintain middleware services to integrate the frontend with backend APIs.

•Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in scripting languages such as Python or Node.js.

•Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend functionality.

•Ensure robust and secure communication between the frontend application and backend services.

Integration & DevOps:

•Adopt DevOps best practices to ensure seamless deployment and operation of code.

•Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.

•Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, from frontend to backend to infrastructure.
