Location: Central London / Remote

Job Description: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Project Planner to be involved in large scale M&E projects.

Job Summary: The M&E Project Planner is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical projects. This role involves developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget. The M&E Project Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for M&E projects using project management software.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and timelines.

Monitor project progress and update schedules as necessary to reflect changes in scope, timelines, and resources.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.

Prepare and present regular progress reports to project managers and senior management.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners and other team members.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project planning, with a focus on M&E projects.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g. ASTA, Primavera P6, MS Project).

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their integration in construction projects.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
