We currently have an opening for an EHS Engineer to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide EHS guidance and compliance permits update to support operation, licensing and permits submissions to various ministries and regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for EHS management system planning and implementation.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Mandated Workplace Incident reporting for Internal and External ministries and regulatory agencies according to their updated protocol
  • Coordinate EHS training, EHS audits and maintain EHS records.
  • Implement required sampling and health examination and promotion program.
  • Mandated Fire safety equipment assessment, inspection, maintenance and submission.
  • Mandated Licensing and Permits submissions to various ministries and regulatory agencies – Ministry of Manpower(MOM), NEA, SCDF etc. (uses / repair / manufacture of chemicals/products and waste management)
  • Incident investigation and prevention activities.
  • Emergency response and preparedness, training, awareness and lead EHS committee.
  • Fire safety equipment assessment, inspection, maintenance and submission.
  • Mandated First aider (>25 employees)
  • Mandated respiratory fit test for the laboratory
  • Mobile elevator assessment and mandated MOM submission
  • Regular inspection and record retention.
  • Establishes and cultivates a network of local support to facilitate completion of assignment.
  • Other EHS-related tasks as required

Qualification Requirement:

  • Knowledge of R&D and office EHS related work.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or any relevant degree
  • Relevant work experience w/in corporate or plant environment
  • EHS Certifications

Qualification Desired:

  • About 3 years experience in a similar EHS role.
