Therefore, our team of Transaction Monitoring Analysts is accurate, operates with integrity, and monitors suspicious financial activity. As part of this team, you will be the first line of defense!

What you will do

• Engage in critically analyzing transactions to identify deviations in transaction patterns and behaviors.


• Review and assess whether a transaction is unusual and avoid sanctions, fraud, and money laundering.


• Keep laws and regulations in mind for each specific country of the client and utilize data from internal systems.


• Conduct client research and effectively collect and link information.


• Decide whether to report to compliance based on your conclusions.


• Proactively suggest efficiency improvements beyond your tasks and responsibilities.


• Monitor daily transactions to detect suspicious activities and potential money laundering or fraud.


• Investigate alerts generated by the transaction monitoring system.


• Assess transactions in context with previous transactions and the client’s business/purpose of the account.


• Maintain accurate and concise records of all investigations, including the rationale for decisions made.


• Assist in preparing departmental management information reports.


• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.


• Provide input to maintain departmental procedures and identify areas of risk.


• Work closely with Compliance and Legal departments to address transaction monitoring-related issues.


• Provide advice and support to sales teams on transaction monitoring trends.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, audit, or legal.


• A strong eye for detail.


• Fluency in French and English.

Being open-minded and a strong communicator helps you work closely with your team and Compliance colleagues. Together, you act as the initial gatekeeper for criminal activity.
