Job Description
A dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy based in Londomn is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join its multidisciplinary Design and Consultancy (DC) team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to building safety design and consultancy services on new-build, refurbishment, conversion, and remediation projects from inception through to completion on site.
The Fire Engineer Role
As a Fire Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, working alongside Fire Engineers, Building Inspectors, Building Surveyors, and Architects. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing design guidance on fire safety engineering and ADB solutions to meet Part B of the Building Regulations
Reviewing and commenting on fire engineering strategies produced by third parties on behalf of our clients
Reviewing and commenting on contractors' proposals for active and passive fire safety measures in new buildings
Undertaking PAS 9980 assessments
Producing fire strategies in accordance with ADB, BS 9991, and BS 9999
Providing training to clients and residents
Attending client and design team meetings as required
Assisting the Partner and Director in fire safety servicesBenefits
