Job Description
4Site Recruitment is looking for a Design Manager to join one of our high-end residential clients. This role involves overseeing the complete design management process from pre-construction to project handover. We seek a candidate with a keen eye for design detail and a passion for excellence, ideal for a technically proficient, design-oriented individual eager to advance their career in Design Management.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage design information from consultants and subcontractors.
Ensure integration of building services with architectural and structural components.
Monitor the approvals process during RIBA Stages 4 & 5.
Manage the design-related Request for Information (RFI) process.
Conduct Design Team Meetings and track action items.
Visit project sites to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Skills & Requirements
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction.
Experience in Design Management for high-end residential projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of technical requirements for Planning and Building Regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit or Archicad is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
