This role is perfect for someone with experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) looking to develop their skills with a clear path to advance into a Subsea NOC Engineer role.
NOC Engineer - Tier 1
Newcastle/Wallsend (Fully Onsite)
£30,000 - £40,000 + 25% Shift Allowance + 10% Bonus
Role Overview
In this Tier 1 NOC Engineer position, you'll be responsible for handling tickets, projects, and day-to-day operations while working with the latest tech infrastructure. The role follows a rotating 12-hour shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off, providing a balanced work-life rhythm. You'll gain exposure to cutting-edge technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers both variety and progression.
Key Responsibilities
Manage NOC support, handling tickets and responding to network-related incidents
Work on BAU activities, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system uptime
Collaborate on projects to enhance and maintain network stability
Monitor, support, and manage data solutions to provide seamless connectivitySkills and Experience
Previous experience in a NOC environment
Proficient in ServiceNow
Knowledge of Secure Information Exchange Network Application (SIENA)
ITIL certification or equivalent understanding
Familiarity with fibre optic technologyShift Pattern
