Datacenter Lead - Cloud Integration

Overview : We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in core datacenter technologies, cloud integration, virtualization, data management, and network security. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our client's infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure while meeting the evolving needs of ourclient's organization. Key Responsibilities : 1. Datacenter Technologies : - Lead the management and optimization of core datacenter technologies, including Servers and Storage systems. - Implement and maintain virtualization solutions using VMware, ensuring high availability and performance. - Oversee the deployment and management of hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) solutions, particularly using Nutanix. - Manage data protection technologies, including Commvault, Veeam, and Dell DPS, to ensure reliable backup and recovery. Cloud Integration : - Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises datacenter solutions and public cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud strategies that optimize cost and performance. Virtualization and HCI Expertise : - Drive the adoption of virtualization technologies to maximize resource utilization and flexibility. - Implement HCI solutions to simplify management and improve scalability, while aligning with business objectives. Data Management and Protection : - Develop and enforce data management policies to ensure data integrity, availability, and security. - Lead initiatives for disaster recovery and business continuity planning, implementing best practices for backup and recovery solutions. Network Security : - Establish and maintain robust network security protocols, leveraging technologies such as Fortinet and Checkpoint. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls. Infrastructure Design : - Architect and design datacenter solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for new projects. Team Leadership : - Mentor and lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Coordinate training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge. Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and policies. - Provide regular reports to management on infrastructure performance, security posture, and project status. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - 5 years of experience in datacenter management and infrastructure design. - Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware) and HCI technologies (Nutanix). - Expertise in backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam). - In-depth understanding of network security technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint). - Proven experience with cloud integration and management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration."
