Job Description : Kilowott is a global technology solutions provider specializing in delivering impactful digital experiences. We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of custom solutions and plugins for our growing client base. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins according to client specifications. - Design and implement new features and functionalities in custom plugins and themes. - Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality web solutions. - Write clean, well-documented code and perform rigorous testing to ensure functionality and performance. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing WordPress sites. - Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and WordPress updates. - Work with APIs to integrate third-party services into WordPress platforms. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. - 3 years of experience working with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugin development. - Expertise in creating, modifying, and maintaining custom WordPress plugins. - Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL. - Experience with WordPress frameworks and RESTful API integrations. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Experience with performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills : - Knowledge of front-end frameworks. - Experience with WordPress multisite development. - Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations. - Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
