AVP, Investor Relations - Venture Capital Firm

Responsibilities

As an integral member of the team, you will drive fundraising activities and be responsible for the end-to-end process of capital raising, gathering third party capital from the UHNW and family office segment in Singapore/Southeast Asia. You will identify potential investors, coordinate investor roadshows and work with placement agencies to identify business opportunities. This involves overseeing the entire fundraising cycle, including responding to DDQs, producing marketing collaterals and onboarding new investors. Post fund raising, you will co-ordinate with the investment, deal and finance teams on preparing quarterly investment reports, responding to investor queries and updating investors on fund performance.

Requirements

The successful candidate has 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience including being in an investor relations/capital introduction/business development/fund raising/placement agent role. You possess an extensive network of UHNW, Family Offices and investor relationships in Singapore/Southeast Asia and proven track record in raising funds. Your strong interest in early stage/ venture capital investing and appreciation of deep tech, AI, blockchain and cutting-edge technologies is a strong advantage. To succeed in this role, you have to be entrepreneurial, strategic and hands-on in executing and driving desired outcomes.
