Senior Installation Analysis Engineer

Job Description
The mission:
As a Senior Installation Analysis Engineer, your key duties will include:
- Producing reports, calculation notes, and other technical documents in compliance with company specifications and standards, while adhering to project deadlines.
- Gathering required input data and managing related interface requests.
- Performing necessary installation analyses and sharing intermediate results in dedicated presentations and meetings.
- Providing guidance to junior engineers (model checks, report reviews, etc.).
- Collaborating with various key stakeholders, including: Installation analysis lead engineer, Installation engineering manager, Project/technical manager.
- Participating in technical reviews, constructability assessments, and weekly meetings within the installation analysis department.
Required Experience:
You have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in installation analysis, gained with major Oil & Gas contractors (Subsea 7, TechnipFMC, Allseas, McDermott, etc.).
Technical Skills (Hard Skills):
- Engineering degree in one of the following fields: Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Naval Architecture, Numerical Simulations, or Programming (preferably Python, Visual Basic, Matlab, Mathcad).
- Expertise in numerical models, with the ability to adjust model complexity to suit the engineering problem.
- Familiarity with key installation analysis standards (DNV, API, etc.).
- Knowledge of main installation methodologies, such as: Rigid pipe-lay (J-lay, Reel-Lay), Umbilicals and flexible pipes, Lifting operations.
- Understanding of the key assets used for these operations (marine spread, lay systems, cranes, etc.).
- Mastery of OrcaFlex is required.
- Proficiency in OrcaWave or another seakeeping tool would be a plus.
English mastery (conversation, reading & writing) is mandatory.
