The Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a hands-on Data Tester to join our London based team, working on an exciting project with a prestigious client in the insurance sector. The Test Analyst will have good working knowledge of PowerBI, SQL Data Migrations / Analytics / ETL / Data Warehousing.

Key Skills / Responsibilities:

• Solid experience of testing in data-driven environments utilising advanced SQL skills – data manipulation
• Strong testing experience with PowerBI
• Good knowledge in ETL testing and validating multiple Source databases to target data warehouse tables
• Experience/Exposure and technical understanding of Data Warehousing terminology
• Solid working knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies and associated test practices
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced self-starter who is happy to work independently
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Functional test experience across system, system integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing
• Experience using the Eclipse platform desirable (specialist insurance platform)
• Experience in the Insurance domain and use of terminology is highly useful
• Previous experience working for a consultancy or managed service provider would be beneficial
