Junior Project Manager - Must have financial payments experience

Location: London - Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site

Rate: £350.00 per day - via umbrella company (inside IR35)

Duration: 12 months

Please note the client is looking for Project Managers with a maximum of 3 years of experience, however you must have worked in the financial payments sector.

About the Role:

An international financial client is seeking an ambitious and talented Junior Project Manager to join their team to support Project Managers on several payment projects.

You will work closely with the Project Managers contributing to the delivery of the payment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Managers through note taking, requirement gathering, helping with prioritisation, budgets and coordination.
• Delegate tasks to other team members and supervise their implementation.
• Assist in educating the project team on quality standards and regulations.
• Project quality management.
• Contribute to documenting the progress of the project and generate reports.
• Stay updated with industry developments and regulations, ensuring the payment projects aligns with the latest standards.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrable 2-3 years proven experience as a Junior Project Manager
• Must have experience in payments or financial services
• Educated to a Degree level in a relevant field e.g., business, economics and finance.
• Certification Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification (desirable).
• Strong communication, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• roven customer service and technical skills.
• Experienced in risk management to correct identify possible threats to the projects.
• Experience working in the financial sector, especially in payments (desirable).
