The Role
This is an exciting time of growth for us, and we are hiring a Bank Reconciliation Assistant to help us continue this success. This is a great opportunity to develop a varied and rewarding career with a company that invests in, recognises and rewards its people.
Reporting to the Bank Reconciliation Supervisor, you’ll ensure that daily downloads of balances, transactions, supplementary lists and consolidated reports are actioned. You’ll carry our daily reconciliations ensuring that you investigate and report any unmatched items.
You will also:
- Move Bank and Ledger files for data file importing
- Carry out credit card reconciliations and monthly ledger reconciliations
- Update and manage the Cashbook unmatched report as well as carry out the monthly review and closure of all bank accounts in cashbook
- Carry out quarterly downloads of statements for audit purposes
- Assist with manual payments and transfers, carrying out bank account verifications as required

- You’re able to work as part of a team, ensuring effective contribution for the team to meet deadlines
- You work with a high degree of accuracy
- You’re able to communicate effectively with your team and the wider finance teams
- You manage your workload and prioritise according to business needs
- It would be ideal if you have experience of bank reconciliation systems
