Senior DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes

Job Description : Responsibilities : - Building a world-class Data Infrastructure/Orchestration/Analytics Platform that covers a wide spectrum of distributed systems, high availability, at-scale architecture, using open source/creating own components by pushing the technology and product boundaries. - Building the DevOps culture in a team with the core values of openness, ownership, automation, and quality. - Contributing to tech roadmap with recommendations, and design analysis on proposed solutions. - Providing technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle. - Reviewing and validating solution designs from other team members. - Introducing automation, not just as a skill, but as a basic DNA in the team and company. Requirements : - 4 years of production experience working with deploying and maintaining applications in high availability in Kubernetes or otherwise. - Experience developing at-scale architecture systems from scratch. - Design and implement DevOps strategies and solutions to meet business objectives. - Working experience with Kubernetes/OpenStack. - Keeping track of cloud cost. - Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions (LGTM stack) - Experience with security tools such as SonarQube, and Trivy. - Excellent programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages. - Excellent understanding of one or more cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. - A knack for finding creative solutions. - Excellent analytical and debugging skills. Nice to have : - SAAS application deployment and maintenance. - Familiarity with Enterprise-level applications. - Experience with security components such as SonarQube, and Trivy. - Experience working in a startup company (ref:hirist.tech)
