Responsibilities : - Automate test cases with a high degree of proficiency. - Apply your knowledge of Java for test automation effectively. - Test complex functionalities to ensure the robustness and reliability of the e6data engine. - Contribute to the testing of data platforms or data products, leveraging experience in this area as a significant advantage. - Conduct thorough testing focusing on the core aspects - Performance - ensuring optimal operation under various conditions. - Correctness - verifying accurate and error-free functionality. - Functionality - ensuring all features work as intended. - Identify gaps in the existing quality processes and suggest actionable improvements. - Engage in proactive problem-solving to enhance the overall quality of the product. - Collaborate closely with the engine team to understand both functional and non-functional requirements of our database solutions. - Design and develop test automation pipelines, playing a key role in the continuous integration process. - 5-8 years of experience in QA engineering, particularly in automating test cases. - Strong proficiency in Java, specifically for test automation purposes. - Solid understanding of complex functionality testing. - Experience in testing data platforms or data products is highly desirable. - Good grasp of continuous integration principles and practices (ref:hirist.tech)
