Role Description : We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in Tamil Nadu, India. This is a full-time, on-site role. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead key projects, manage teams, and play a critical role in the design and development of robust software solutions to support healthcare claim processing systems. Your expertise in microservices architecture, Spring Framework, and Java technologies will be essential to the success of our projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, overseeing project deliverables, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the developed solutions. Key Responsibilities : Lead the Project - Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based solutions. - Take ownership of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, adherence to deadlines, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Act as a technical architect by providing guidance on microservices design, integration with existing systems, and overall software architecture. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring that project goals align with business needs. - Conduct regular project reviews, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of all phases of the project lifecycle. - Continuously assess project risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure the project stays on track. Manage the Teams - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Java developers, guiding them in software development best practices, coding standards, and design principles. - Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. - Allocate resources, assign tasks, and ensure that team members are meeting productivity targets and deadlines. - Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and set actionable development plans for team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project objectives and that potential bottlenecks are addressed proactively. - Drive cross-team collaboration and encourage the use of agile methodologies for project management, fostering an adaptive and efficient work environment. Software Development: - Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and microservices, ensuring scalability, performance, and security in the software architecture. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to the best industry practices and internal coding standards. - Lead code reviews, ensuring that the team adheres to coding guidelines and delivers high-quality, bug-free code. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely and efficient manner. - Ensure comprehensive unit testing and integration testing to deliver reliable and error-free applications. - Technical Leadership and Innovation - Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Java and related technologies, including new tools, frameworks, and best practices. - Introduce innovative solutions and technologies to enhance the performance and functionality of Medrytes healthcare systems. - Provide thought leadership on leveraging Java for healthcare-specific challenges, such as high-volume data processing, secure data handling, and HIPAA compliance. - Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning experts to build machine learning models and develop algorithms that can enhance business : - Proven expertise in Java software development, experience in deep learning, machine learning, and data science will be a plus. - Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and other Java-related technologies. - Experience with healthcare claim processing systems is a plus. - Advanced problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. - Team player with excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Relevant certifications in Java programming. - Familiarity with other programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Perl is preferred.
