Job Responsibilities : - You will design, develop, and optimize high-performance Python applications, mentor junior developers, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead Python development for energy solutions, ensuring top-notch application performance. - Collaborate across teams to integrate and deploy scalable solutions. - Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure coding standards. - Ensure software compliance with ETRM's security and risk standards. Requirements : - Experience : 8-10 years in Python, with strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI. - Databases : Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - API Development : Experience with REST APIs, familiarity with GraphQL is a plus. - Real-time Data Processing : Understanding of real-time data processing for large datasets. - DevOps & Cloud : Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Preferred Skills : - Experience with microservices, distributed systems, big data (Kafka, Spark), and Agile methodology. - Knowledge of the energy sector and trading systems is a plus.
