Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager reporting to the Team Leader to manage a supplier portfolio for production quality. In this role, you will have the chance to take charge of files concerning compliance issues, management of new parts and continuous improvement of your portfolio. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Support production teams by ensuring rapid containment of non-conformities and handling the point of contact with the supplier. Create sorting methodologies using measuring tools and inspection templates. Carry out Quality activities leading to the acceptance of new Ski-Doo and Spyder components according to BRP requirements and the PPAP process. Validate suppliers' process capability to obtain components that meet all requirements at all times. Audit our suppliers to improve quality processes and on-site control plans, all in a dynamic production environment. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor's degree or DEC in engineering or other relevant training Experience in a Quality manufacturing environment Good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills Analytical and synthesizing skills, practical mechanical experience Knowledge of Quality tools and processes, Lean, Six Sigma certification an asset Fluency in English and French is required for daily interaction with suppliers who may be outside Quebec. Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.
