Job Description

About Konvu

At Konvu, we’re on a mission to make security invisible. As we move towards a future dominated by code automatically generated, tested, and deployed by AIs, we need a new paradigm for application security. We need vulnerabilities to be automatically detected, prioritized, and remediated.

Behind Konvu are founders with deep roots in the security industry. As early employees at Sqreen, a notable security startup acquired by Datadog, we have firsthand experience in driving security solutions from concept to global impact.

We have secured $5M in Seed funding and are backed by top European and US venture capital firms, along with executives and former executives from companies such as Datadog, GitHub, Docker, Cloudflare, Sumo Logic, and Vanta.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join us in Paris and play a crucial role in this journey.

What you’ll do

As one of the first software engineers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product and helping customers identify vulnerabilities that matter in their environments. You will collaborate with the founders and interact frequently with customers to design and develop new product capabilities.

Working directly with the engineering team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop our product offerings, contributing to our sensors, back-end, front-end, and infrastructure helping users remediate vulnerabilities

  • Discover & leverage cutting-edge technologies in application security to provide better context to users

  • Working closely with customers to refine and improve our product iteratively

  • Research emerging vulnerabilities impacting our customers’ environments and devising solutions to assist in their remediation

Who you are

We value people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all qualifications on day one. Even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply if you’re enthusiastic about the role and believe you can make a valuable contribution.

  • You have 4+ years of experience in software engineering

  • You are deeply interested in emergent Linux technologies like eBPF

  • You are curious about security and love to learn about new topics

  • You are customer-focused and have a passion for developing solutions that meet customer needs

  • Proficient in English (the office is an English-speaking environment)

  • You want to work from the center of Paris

Why work at Konvu
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of the security industry

  • Grow with us as we embark on an exciting journey to make security invisible

  • Develop your skills in a cutting-edge field

  • Be a part of an inclusive team that values every voice

  • Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and comprehensive benefits

Our commitment to diversity

At Konvu, we deeply value diversity and are dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone feels supported and can thrive. To build a product that’s loved by everyone, we need a team with all kinds of different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. This is why we are committed to hiring people from all walks of life.

Our remote philosophy

We are an early stage company and think that we’ll build the best company we can, at the fastest pace we can, whilst also having a lot of fun by physically working together in-office. Naturally, on a case by case basis (e.g. leaving early for a holiday, staying home for a builder) we’re very reasonable and flexible!

Our hiring process
  • 30-minute video call with our CEO

  • Take-home exercise

  • 1h video call with our CTO

  • Onsite with the whole team: 2 hours total

  • Reference calls
