In order to support the growth of its business, Equancy is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to integrate its Data Practice. Within the data-science team you will join, your missions will be the following:
- Qualify the business needs and issues with the clients (internal and customer) and define the associated data science approach, with the possible support of a data expert: identification of the data to be used and necessary preparations, choice of the algorithmic and modeling approach, performance evaluation methods, optimization of parameters, iterations to improve ...
- Carry out and manage data science projects in Agile mode;
- Manage the relationship with the client;
- Carry out or supervise the analyses necessary for the proper handling of the data available, to check the consistency and validate the reading of the data;
- Develop or supervise the development of Python processing (PySpark in case of high volume) to prepare data, train and optimize data science models (statistics, machine learning, deep learning), evaluate and validate their performance;
- Industrialize (MLOps) or pilot the industrialization of models that are put into production jointly with the data engineering team;
- Develop interfaces for visualization and interaction with the developed models (especially under dash);
- Ensure the documentation of the work and analyses entrusted to you;
- Prepares or supervises the preparation of reports and presentations of work carried out for clients (internal or external) and leads sharing sessions;
- Contribute to the development of the expertise of junior data scientists through the organization and animation of training sessions.
- At least 3 years of experience;
- Graduate of a master's degree in data science or an engineering school with a specialization in data science; a complementary course in business school is a plus;
- Previous experience in a consulting firm desired;
- Interest in AI innovation, and in AI applications for business;
- Very good mastery of Python and its data science modules (pandas, sklearn, seaborn, PySpark, dash), Tensorflow and Pytorch, mastery of Dataiku DSS is required;
- Mastery of data preparation techniques and creation of features;
- Very good knowledge of statistical algorithms, machine learning and deep learning;
- Past experience on industrialization and scaling of Data Science models;
- Realization of several projects on cloud environments (Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, MS Azure);
- Taste for teamwork;
- Reactivity, sense of service, good listening skills, good interpersonal skills, good stress management;
