As the Director of Accounting EMEA, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial closing process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, a proven track record in managing financial processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your new role

• Financial Close: Overseeing monthly financial closes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local standards.
• Analysis & Reporting: Conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing accurate reports, and reconciling accounts.
• Policy & Controls: Developing robust accounting policies, implementing internal controls, and ensuring SOX compliance.
• Statutory & Payroll: Managing statutory financial reporting and overseeing payroll processes across EMEA.
• Collaboration: Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve processes.
• Tax Support: Collaborating with the Global Tax team on corporate, VAT, and WHT matters.

What you'll need to succeed

• Practise trained qualified accountant-ideally from a Top 10 Firm
• A strong accounting background with a focus on US GAAP and local standards.
• 10+ years of experience in GL accounting and reporting, with a proven track record in EMEA.
• Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team across multiple locations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
